Valentine's Day Collab with XOXO IJoelle: Day To Night Looks
5:00 AM
Valentine's Day is definitely around the corner,so I teamed up with blogger XOXO IJoelle for these day to night looks for V-day.
No matter the occasion we are always looking for the right outfit. We never no the "actual" plans for Valentine's, so sometimes you have to plan ahead, just have two outfits ready. Don't worry we have you covered with two looks; day to night. Let's get into these looks babes:
Valentine's Brunch:
This first look consist of a nice brunch with ladies or even bae. I wanted to create something real fun and flirty. With this look, I also wanted it to be light (if that makes since lol). I mixed dark and light colors to achieve that "light look". My top is from Tobi; a nice bodysuit that has a choker attached. I purchased this skirt about a year ago from Charlotte Russe, and I am still in love with it. It adds so much personality to a look, not only that, but I think that it is great look for a nice brunch at Magnolia's to toast some mimosa's up to. Oh yeah, my shoes are from Body Central (four years old) and I personalized them with the feathers on them.
Look Two: Dinner With Bae
Now this look is my ultimate favorite! First of all do you see this color against my skin; red just might be my color. For this look, I wanted to go with something real sleek and sophisticated. I choose red simply because I rarely wear red, also because it is the color of the holiday that we are talking about. How can you not think of wearing red for Valentine's?
I wanted to paint the night red with this Anna Dress from Fashion Nova. Everyone who knows me know that I love Fashion Nova. This dress is literally everythinngggg; it gives you that sophisticated look that you should go for when going on a date. Not to mention that it hugs your curves just right. The silhouette from this dress will grab just the attention that you are asking for.
This suit type trench coat is by Jones of New York, however, I did pick this up from the thirft store like two years ago. It always comes in handy with looks like this. The creme color blends right in with this bright red so beautifully. This is the piece that really makes this look sophisticated.
These heels are from GoJane (purchased a year ago), and I am still in love with it. I wanted to the red on top of red, so that I could go full force with this color since I rarely do it. My accessories completed this look with a dangling gold choker (Ashley Stewart), hoop earrings, and a rose gold Kim Rogers watch from Belk.
Let know what you think about the look's in the comments below and Happy Pre-Valentine's Day.
