Vibin' and Mixin'

We all spend hours flipping through pintrest, instagram, and other inspiring apps to look for stylish outfits for almost every occasion. Well every week here on Glam Bombshell I am here to help you with that; it's your one stop shop for everything fashion and beauty. I am the queen of mixing and matching what is in my closet;using the same pieces for different looks. And that is what this post is all about. Who says we need to buy something new for every outfit that we post?

Buying new items for my closet is not really a big deal, nor is spending every dollar that I get. Mixing and matching really is hanging it out on your clothing rack, to see how many outfit combinations you can get out of a few pieces. not hard at all, right? Trust me hunny, none of this pieces you see here are new, it was just awaiting for a time to be remixed again. Next time you are fighting with yourself with an item, just play dress up with as many pieces within your closet that you can. Trust me, you will find out that you have style and can really rock an item more than once.

My Daily Detox Water

This is a quick detox that I "mostly" drink daily that I find very refreshing to my body and soul. This particular detox water helps with flushing out your system. By system, I mean your body. This is also a great way for not drinking "boring" water.

This particular detox water has certain ingredients, such as lemon, mint leaves, oranges, and cucumbers. Each of these ingredients adds a key part into helping your body detox.

The lemon fuses within the water to help boost your immune system, while aiding within your digestive system as well. The mint leaves helps settles your stomach, and it just adds flavor to the water. The cucumbers helps with re-hydration, while the oranges add flavor and and helps fight off fat.

How often should I drink lemon water? Once a day in the morning is good. Twice a day is excellent! See what works best for you. Play around with it and see how you feel. When in doubt, consult a physician.

MLK Day Slay

Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day to all; we all know that this is a day to rejoice and be proud of within our country. Dr. King help pave the way for many and I am forever thankful for that. Sometimes we just have to reflect on our history and realize how we got to this point within our lives. Dr. King lead the way to racial equality and left behind an unforgettable legacy. He is known for standing up for rights and paving paths to live dreams.

We still live in a time where there are still race issues, however, we have came a long way. As far as dreams are concerned, we have to learn how to put in our minds that we are already where we need to be. I am pretty sure that Dr. King saw freedom and racial equality down the road before we actually got there. We have to learn to believe in ourselves and just go for it.

What's In MyBag

We all have these overly big handbags and sometimes I wonder, what do I really need to have in my bag? Really, I try to carry very minimal items in my handbag. For one, I do not like carrying a very heavy bag on my shoulders twenty four seven. On a day to day basis, you only need your important essentials in your bag. Why carry more than you have to?

Satchel Bag: This bag is from JustFab and I have had it for yeaarrrrsss. It is really by go to handbag, and I wear it just about everyday. It is the perfect size and some for all of my essentials.

I love having some type of planner or notebook with me at all times. You never know when you are going to need to jot something down or need to make plans for an event. The life of a blogger, you need some type of writing source with you at all times. I got this cute little gold notebook from Target; they have plenty of cute planners to choose from.

Beauty Thangs: I always have to have several lip products with me at all times. You never know where you will be going, so I think that it is best to have options. What girl does not like options? I love to have a chapstick close by; this one is the Hydration Tint. This is one of my favorite chapsticks, and I use it just about everyday. My next lip product to carry is a butter lip gloss by NYX. Their lip glosses are the best because it is very long lasting. Finally, we bombshells must have to have a lipstick available at all times; make sure that it is a neutral shade.

I always keep a nice smell good with me. Juicy Couture is always on my must have list for perfume, and I can't live without it.

And where can you go without your wallet. We all need to carry along our coins just in case we see something that catches our eyes. For me, that is pretty often.

Causal and Comfy

So after the little bit of the "sprinkle" or snow that Columbia experienced over the weekend, I was inspired to come through with this all white outfit. I am love with the colors black and white lately, and I feel that they are becoming my favorite colors. Neutral colors are my thing now that I am getting older (I will be 25 this year).

Sunday's are meant from relaxed but cute looks. So I wanted to keep it that way.

As you all know, I am in love with High Maintenance Boutique and I think I just about wore this top out, so I know it is time for another one.

My bottoms are from Charlotte Russe, and I recently wore them in my post Crisp and Simplistic. Like I said before, these bottoms may be on their last leg to, however, I still manage to get some use out of them.

Applying this leather jacket that I bought from Ross about 3 years ago, added a nice edgy look to this outfit. It actually managed to pull everything together!

And these boots hunny have been in my closet for about a year now. My mom actually ordered these from Fashion Nova. If you cannot tell by now, I am loving all of their merchandise. How can a girl not?

Olive Branch: Quick OOTD

Happy Friday Bombshells!! This week has flown by and to say the least, I am really excited about it. I get to bundle up a little bit before for I get to my blogging business. Going into the weekend, I always love to look fly; I mean why not?

You Bombshells can see that I am pretty much in love with the olive, and at this point who isn't? Bomber jackets have truly come full circle and being a big trend lately, and we all should own at least one in our closets by now.

When planning this outfit of the day, I just wanted something very casual. However, I still wanted it to include some trends that are happening.

Go To Gym Items

I am slowly trying to get into the motions of being a "gym geek" and getting my body back in shape, and this is a great time to start especially since New Year's just past. Fitness is a major goal this year because I have several engagements to attend, and hunny I'm trying to look right at every single occasion. Everyone needs a bit of motivation when starting this journey, so why not do so with new workout gear.

Workout clothes are my ultimate favorite, even when I am not in the gym because they are so comfortable. However, this go round, I am not buying them for the sake of lounging around the house.

Now let's get into my go to gear for the gym:

A sports bra is must! You must give your girls some support, especially if you are heavy chested, because you do not want them bouncing all over the place. Find you a great sports bra that is the perfect fit and look for you. By the way this sports bra is from JC Penny.

Next, you must find you the most comfortable pants ever. You do not want to have to pull your pants up every second because they are falling down, so you may want to go with something that fits just right. The stretchy route is always my way to go, considering, they provide me with comfort, flexibility, and I CAN BREATHE in them. These babies are from Forever 21.

Lastly, are my Polar Fitness Watch. I love this little gadget, and I feel lost whenever I do not have it with me in the gym. This is great for keeping track of your heart rate and calorie lost. Not only that, but it stays up to date with your fitness track throughout the week. I purchased this from Amazon.

Just getting much needed, yet cute, fitness gear motivates me to get in the gym and get this body right. As for the eating healthy, I am still working on that it bit. However, I will get it right over the course of the next couple of weeks.
